Retaining the People You Have Will Keep Your Life in Balance

How do you keep people engaged, moving forward and excited? Are you a formal or informal member of a group, organization or family?

Multiple best-selling author Seth Godin would call any grouping of 2 or more people a ‘Tribe’. In his New York Times Bestselling book Tribes, Seth leads, teaches and mentors his readers on keeping people engaged, moving forward and excited. You need all if you want your tribe to survive, find stability and be predictable.

Having a tribe that survives, is stable and predictable in today’s economy is priceless. Most of us have shifted the way we value success to a mindset of thriving, constantly moving forward and adding new things to our life to valuing survival, stability and predictability.

How about you? Close your eyes for a moment. Have YOU ever or recently started to value survival, stability and predictability?

Are there people who believe that thriving, moving forward and adding new things to life is awesome? Yes, and I am one of those people. Being in the middle of launching my 21st business, I believe the path to your REAL success is paved with thriving, moving forward and adding new things.

You need to keep that belief in balance. Out of the successful businesses I have launched, I have had my belief of thriving, moving forward and adding new things cause a “train wreck”. Once you have been part of a train wreck you can imagine the lessons you learn to survive, reach stability and predictability.

My goal in this week’s series of articles is to lead, teach and mentor you in the lessons given to me over the last 42 years of group, organizational and family leadership.

You will Identify, learn, practice and analyze the art of keeping people engaged, moving forward and excited.

This series of articles is perfect for extremely successful people, those in the middle of a train wreck and those in between. Whether you’re in the middle of a monster season of success, still on the tracks or slowly climbing back, you’ll find real world strategies to focus on keeping people engaged, moving forward and excited.
